
Akhnoor, Jammu & Kashmir | October 5, 2026: The Northern Command of the Indian Army will organise the 204th Raksha Pension Samadhan Ayojan at Sanga Auditorium, Akhnoor, on October 7 and 8, 2026, to address pension-related and allied service issues faced by veterans and Veer Naris.
According to a post shared by Northern Command, the initiative is being organised in coordination with stakeholders as part of the Army's continued engagement with the veteran community.
The two-day programme will be held from 0900 hours to 1700 hours and is specifically aimed at Army, Navy and Air Force veterans from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Life certificate guidance
Family pension assistance

On-the-spot guidance and handling of grievances
The organisers have also stated that grievances of officers are welcome.
The initiative reflects the Indian Army's emphasis on maintaining a strong connection with veterans and Veer Naris and facilitating the resolution of issues affecting their pension and related entitlements.
Northern Command described the effort as part of its commitment to honouring the contribution of veterans and Veer Naris to nation-building and strengthening coordination with stakeholders for veteran welfare.
